What is Conductor?

Conductor is a path who offers little resistance, conductor carrying therefore in conductor materials current flow easily. In conductor material there are many free electrons. When we apply a P.D across it these free electrons moves very quickly; as a result current flow through this conductor.
There are many conductor materials such as gold,aluminum,copper,iron etc.
Gold is the best conductor for flowing current.
